HEMP-DERIVED DELTA 9 THC

SLEEP • MOOD • ENERGY

What is Hemp-Derived Delta 9 THC?

Delta 9 THC from hemp plants is a very popular cannabinoid, providing consumers with another option for getting the lift or buzz you want. Hemp-derived Delta 9 is legal under federal law because it’s extracted from hemp plants that contain less than .3% THC.

The legality of THC products is determined by the source of extraction, whether its from hemp and marijuana (which are two different strains of the Cannabis Sativa plant).

THC derived from hemp is legal under the Farm Bill of 2018, as long as it contains a THC concentration of no more than 0.3% by dry weight.

Unlike Hemp-derived Delta 9 THC, D9 THC derived from the marijuana species of Cannabis plants remains a controlled substance on a federal level, however some states have legalized it for recreational or medical purposes.

What is Hemp-Derived Delta 9 THC?

Delta 9 THC is the same chemical compound, regardless of the source. Traditional Delta 9 has more THC and high doses can be too stimulating and may make you anxious and paranoid. But low to moderate amounts of THC, as found in hemp-derived Delta 9 THC, can provide similar feelings of euphoria and may help with pain management, nausea, and insomnia, without the potential side effects of traditional D9.

If you thought only good THC can be purchased at a dispensary, we promise you won’t be able to tell a difference. In fact, you will likely prefer the way this gets you there with less THC, because our Delta 9 products are formulated with nanotechnology, making our D9 edibles up to 9x more bio-available for a complete Delta 9 experience from less THC. So remember, this is dispensary grade THC that you can now get at our CBD American Shaman store.

Delta 9 THC is very popular because of its psychoactive effects. As more studies are released, the health benefits of compounds found in hemp have been known to support various health functions in the body, including sleep, mood, and energy.

The beneficial effects continue as the molecular compound (also referred to as a ‘cannabinoid’) of Delta-9 interacts with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid system to produce the entourage effect which helps the body enter homeostasis.

This type of THC, along with other legal types such as Delta 8 THC, provides compounding benefits when multiple cannabinoids interact in the body.

Benefits of Delta 9 THC

Both Delta 9 THC and CBD are cannabinoids that naturally occur in hemp plants. Different cannabinoids within the plant have various effects on the body’s endocannabinoid system. While CBD products won’t create any “high” effects in the user, Delta 9 THC will provide psychoactive effects.

For those people that want relaxing effects but may have a higher tolerance because of using CBD, it might be time to consider switching to Delta 9 or Delta 8 THC.

Unlike CBD Oil, both D8 and D9 THC products are psychoactive and will very likely alter your mental space, so be careful with dosage, especially if when first trying it.

Although there are similar benefits, THC is strictly for those that want to get high, without the potential side effects of the more potent cannabis-derived THC.
